Let me start with this: WOW!!! I cannot BELIEVE this only has 10 page views!!! When I saw this as a thumbnail, I was curious, and I am glad I took a second look. The colors are phenomenal! You used the color spectrum, but it doesn't scream "rainbow". And it flows greatly into her hair! The white dots are a nice addition, and they don't distract from the face,m which I assume you want to be the focus. You've also done a great job of keeping those colors separate without letting them get all muddied up. I think the white in the middle really helped as well, because it gave a nice visual separation in the background. It's nice to have multiple places to look. I'm also glad you didn't put the figure right in the middle--having her slightly to the right makes for a more interesting composition. Her face and hair convey a emotion of serenity, which seems to fit well with your title of "swept away". The only negatives I can think of (and they really aren't so much negative" is that the girl's anatomy around her mouth look a little muddled. Her lips should wrap a little bit more around the form of her face. I would have liked to see that color carry on through the bottom left corner, but that might just be my taste. This is a great piece, and I love it!!!
when i first saw this i was just like "fuuuuuuuuuuuuck" sorry not very good at expressing things but OMG it just looks so....."fuuuuuuuuuck" the colours and everything >o< it looks like she's evolving or something!
Your colours are absolutely stunning and I love the sense of movement in the picture. It't beautifuil how her hair flows into the swirls. Not sure if you intended it to look like she was erupting from the water but that is the sense I get. You know despite all the technology available now it never ceases to amaze me how powerful real paintings can be just using paint and brushes. It must be the passion you can put in - the brush is almost an extension of the artist channeling their feelings onto the paper.
