Girl

I really adore the continuation of the splatter water color fading into the girl's face and dripping from the eyes. the eyes are really bold and stand out with the clear, sharp lines. the eyebrows, because they have a hint of brown could have been continued in with the hair color slightly. i love the lips, gives a great expression. overall its a really contemporary piece, really pretty and simple. i also like the contrast between the thin black lines and the thick color used in the splatters and shading. great t see a limited use of colors (one palette), water color pieces can often become overloaded. the girl has a hopeful expression which pulls me in and makes me look first at her eyes which have wicked change from the blue/pink/purple splatters.
